Our mission: Through art and visual media, we give visibility, voice, and support to people affected by brain tumors and brain injuries.
Join us!
Through awareness campaigns, patient stories, artistic projects, music, film, and collaboration with doctors, medical experts, artists, ambassadors, brands, and international partners, Brains Get Famous works to support patients, survivors, and families affected by brain tumors, brain injuries, and the consequences of late or incorrect diagnoses. We promote early diagnosis, share real stories, encourage art as a form of expression, build support networks, and help make these realities seen, heard, and better understood around the world.

BRAINS GET FAMOUS, its President María de Kannon Clè, the BGF team, Dr. Alfredo Quiñones-Hinojosa, and his team at Mission Brain are working to proclaim October 14 as the Global Day to Honor Brain Tumor Patients.

Since María launched this initiative and proclamation campaign in the city of Málaga, she, Dr. Q, his team, and the BGF team have received support from doctors, patients, families, business leaders, artists, and representatives of society around the world. The cities of Madrid, Mexico City, and Rome have joined this proclamation effort. Together, we continue working to light up cities in honor of brain tumor patients and this cause.

The Brains Get Famous Society was founded in 2021 by María de Kannon Clè, Ciro González-Mohíno, and family, with the collaboration of Michael Brando, after María was diagnosed late with a brain tumor in the emergency room in November 2019.
Following her experience, María decided to create a platform to raise awareness of brain tumors and help others, both adults and children, recognize early signs and access timely, accurate diagnoses.
The Brains Get Famous team is led by its founder and President, filmmaker and producer María de Kannon Clè, together with Ciro González-Mohíno, a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and creator of the BGF logo. The organization is also supported by María’s family, Michael Brando, friends, doctors from different disciplines, sponsors, ambassadors, patients, and collaborators from both the international artistic world and wider society.
The Brains Get Famous family is dedicated to supporting brain tumor survivors and patients around the world. Join us today and help us continue this important work.
