ANA EUGENIA BREÑA

BGF Friend & volunteer

 Born in México. Ana Breña through her family learned the importance of caring for and supporting others, to strengthen the values that today define her as a person, for Ana, the family has always been the most important pillar of life. Within her possibilities, Ana had the great opportunity to help those who need it most, participating in volunterr activities from a very young age. When Ana was a very young girl, during her school years she participated in volunteer activities to assist and help underprivileged in the Orphanage Casa de Cuna Coyoacán in México City. During her adolescence, for 6 years she continued in various volunteer activities at the Hospital 20 de Noviembre in México city, where they provided physical and emotional support in the ward for children with cancer, as well as to the sick who were convalescing there. Ana, in her adult life, moved to the city of Cuernavaca Morelos, collaborating professionally in the company Unilever, where she also had the opportunity for 3 years to participate actively promoting donations for the Mexican Teleton, as well as in the Teleton Summers where for 2 years they were able to get walkers and orthopedic items for children in rehabilitation. In parallel they were able to organise 3 annual events for the collection of clothing and personal items for chidren and young people with HIV in La Casa de la Sal A.C. in México City.


For the past 3 years. Ana have spent time as a volunteer English teacher at the Centro Educativo La Buena Tierra in the city of Cuernavaca Morelos, where non-profit education is offered to children in extreme poverty. Overall, Ana can share that her passion for helping others was instilled in her since childhood.

Ana Breña has been working lately till she started her work as a volunteer with Brains Get Famous ONG unitl september 2023, as a Community Manager and radio announcer in an international program radio station in Madrid, Spain.

 Ana thoughts: "I have always thought that my passion for giving to others is rooted in the values I learned since my childhood, with empathy, generosity and solidarity, I know that we can make those small big differences have a positive impact on others.
